We had a wonderful time in Prague staying at the pension Atelier. Ideal quiet location, brilliant host and the best breakfast we've ever had (complete with complimentary Champagne on my birthday) All the arrangements worked really well including the easy bus & metro ride to and from the airport, thanks for your help.

We have just got back from Prague after a 4 day stay. We had read the previous reports on the Prague Lion hotel and we can honestly say they dont do it justice, we had excellant service, it is quite central, very affordable and
room was excellant with satelite tv. The staff were helpful only drawback lousy coffee but we could put up with that. This hotel represents excellant value and is centrally located.

On our arrival even though 6 hr flight delay our prebooked taxi driver was waiting for us helped us with our bags and on arrival at hotel the receptionis carried our bags to the room.

All in all the trip was excellant thank you for all your organisation and we certainly reccomend your services and the hotel

Just a brief message to say thanks for the excellent service provided by your hotel transfer drivers.Despite our plane being late the driver waited and was very polite and even gave us an impromptu tour of the city rather than going via the less scenic tunnel. It certainly put our minds at rest knowing we had your service to fall back on to get back to the airport after our excellent stay.

My four friends and i took a four day break in prague and were appalled by the rudeness of the people. I dont know if it was because we were young english girls with the audacity to wear skirts one inch above the knee, or if they are generally bad mannered.
We had heard the people were polite and friendly ,but on our arrival at our 3 star hotel, the sour faced receptionist looked up at us and said 'passports?' and then expected us to pay a deposit in euros, which we had not been informed of before, and all we had was coronas.we paid the money, and then the two security guards left us to slog our luggage up two flights of stairs, telling us without an apology, that the lift was 'out of order'.
At a local restaurant we ordered a main course each, no one asked for bread, but we were bought some. At the end of the meal we were charged for this bread, 2.50, and 1.00 for service. It may not sound a lot, but we are not rich girls! we would not have minded beind charged for service, if the service hadnot been so bad. the waiter barely said a word to us, and never smiled. If we had been told we were to be charged for bread, we would not have ordered it.
In a cafe, the next day, we ordered ice cream as a desert to our dinner, (which we had found hairs in, a strange discovery, in a recommended cafe)the ice cream was different from the picture on the menu, and coverde in nuts. I said it was not the same, and the waitress said, but the ice cream underneath is the same. I told her i was allergic to nuts, and she told me to leave it. At the end of the meal i was charged for it, although i had not eaten it and had had no replacement offered to me, but i refused to pay, and she accepted this in a rude and agressive way.On the tram into town, people would laugh and stare at us, not caring if we saw them. In England, we would never dare treat foreigners in that way, and it made us angry.
Next year, i am going back to north cyprus, a very friendly place where people have been brought up to treat others with manners and respect.

My daughter and I spent 4 wonderful days at the Hotel U Modreh klice (Blue Key) which is just off the Lesser Town Square. It is very handy for walking everywhere and the view at night walking across the Charles Bridge back to the hotel is just wonderful. The staff were very friendly and even recommended a local restaurant, The 3 Violins. The rooms were amazing, beautifully decorated, central heating, double glazing, duvets, fridge, TV, hairdryer. The bathroom was exceptionally clean, very modern and clean towels every day. A great choice at breakfast and at the weekend, there is sausage, bacon and eggs. I will definately be going back later this year.

The hotel Salvator, which we stayed in on the 29/12/2004 ,is advertised as cosy and interesting on website. We found the cleanliness questionable, and it was certainly not cosy. Would not recommend it.

We spent 6 days in Praha,a Wonderful experience. Made even better by the expert help of, Alena Obstova, Pavla Vavrouskova & Jarek our very funny and extremely experienced taxi driver. Taking us to other parts of the Czech Republic we would have definately got lost in.

Many thanks to you all. We will be doing it again with your Company.

After spending 5 days in Prague I returned exhausted but a lot wiser!
Prague is a beautiful city at this time of year. The buildings and the atmosphere of the Christmas markets were beyond my expectations even though I had done my homework on the net before my visit. Postcards and photographs do not do it have to be there.
One moan (sorry) the driver of my transfer bus was not the first Praguer that anyone should meet in order to form an opinion. Although he spoke and understood English well, he was almost at the point of being rude. This being so, on the return transfer I did not initiate any conversation with him. I wish he had been wearing identification!
However, all the tours that were organised before my visit were wonderful. Guides were conscientious, professional and with a sense of humour.
P.S. accommodation in a Pension was great too. Thank you.

Have just returned from 3 memorable days in Prague.

We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Golden Stag. The rooms were spacious and v comfortable. The situation so close to the Old Town Square was wonderful.

Thankyou for your advice when planning the trip.

Thank you also to Gerry who transported us to and from the airport and entertained and informed us during the journey.

I would have no hesitation in recommending your services to my friends.

I am writing to thank you and Athos travel for organising our

accommodation and transfers while we were in Prague last weekend. We

have had 5 wonderful days in Prague staying at the Benedikt Apartments.

The accommodation was very clean and in the ideal located to explore the

city, with the coffee shop on the ground floor been the perfect place

for breakfast.

I would specially like to thank Milan Tomasek, your transfer service.

>From the moment we arrived to when we left he was very helpful and made

us feel very welcome in your country. Please pass on our thanks again to

Prague is a beautiful city and 5 days was not enough. We will definitely

come back to Prague in the future and would definitely use Athos travel

We visited 16-20th October. Thanks to Hana at Athos Travel for her efficient and friendly handling of our booking. The city is beautiful and exciting and we recommend it to all. We were fortunate with our accomodation - Appartment Zatec, which was clean and spacious with a great location. We also stayed at Hotel Roma , which had a less convenient location but was very nice and modern.

Best memory was the driver, Milan Tomasek. What a character - nothing was too much trouble! It was like having our own chauffeur during our visit. My wife loves the Smetana 'Ma Vlast' CD he gave us. His pride in his country and his job shone through and enthused us.

Dear Ms. Obstova:

I am writing to let you know how much my friend and I enjoyed our visit to

Prague, and to let you know that there is a possibility that I may make

another visit next month, with another friend.

If I do, I would like to stay at the Domus Hotel again, and to have Martin

as a guide on a tour.

With much appreciation, Peter Henderson

Dear Sir/Madam,

We would like to thank you for helping make our recent trip to Prague so enjoyable. We were picked up at the airport on October 9th by Milan Tomasek, and taken to the train by Mister Tomasek on October 13th. We also took a tour of Prague, which you arranged, on October 10th and we enjoyed the tour very much. We had a wonderful time in Prague. The city was beautiful, the churches and castle and museums were wonderful, and the Czech People were so very nice to us.

But what we will always remember most was the assistance, consideration and kindness of Mister Tomascek. He was kind enough to do so much more than just transport us from the airport to our hotel and back to the train station. He went with me to the train station, when we arrived in Prague, and made the reservations for us to travel to Vienna. When we left for Vienna, he took all our heavy luggage into the train station. There he patiently waited with us until our train arrived, and then found our car and carried the luggage onto the train. My wife and I are a little disabled due to knee injuries, and we would not have been able to manage at the train station without his assistance. He had no obligation other than to pick us up and drop us off, but he saw that we needed assistance and he provided that assistance freely and wholeheartedly. We will always remember him, and be grateful to him.

Please extend our sincere thanks to Mister Tomasek. When we recall our trip to Prague, he will always be the face of the Czech People.

Bill and Nina Ciesla
