We have just returned from a few days in Prague which was a wonderful experience. I would like to thank Petra and all at Athos Travel for their help in arranging our accommodation (The House at The Charles Bridge - an excellent location with a lovely relaxed atmosphere and good traditional food) and transfer to and from the airport. Athos arrangements took all the stress out of our trip and I would definitely use their services again.

We have just returned from 3 wonderful nights in Prague - it was magical! The Golden Stag was perfect in every way - location, price, and yummy breakfasts! Nothing was too much trouble. I cannot recommend you highly enough, in fact we have told everyone about you, so I hope you will be dealing with our friends and family in the future!

A group of 5 of us have just returned from a New Year trip to Prague which

we thoroughly enjoyed. Initially there were 4 of us which we upped at a

later stage and many thanks to Dasa who arranged everything very quickly

and easily. Our driver showed up at the right time on both trips

including our flight to prague which was delayed by an hour.



We stayed at the Pension Prague Lion which worried me somewhat after

reading sendmerubbish2002@yahoo.com 's comments below. Fortunately we

found the hotel to be of a fairly good standard especially considering how

little we were paying for it. The rooms were clean, the staff were very

friendly taking great care to explain to us on arrival places we should

go, places we should avoid and the prices we should expect to pay.

Breakfast was somewhat of a joke so I agree with Sam there but again we

didn't expect much for the price. The hotel is fairly near a main road

but we had no problems crossing it as I thought the road system was well

planned in Prague. I would reccomend the Prague Lion if you are after

basic accomodation at a good price, typically groups of lads on a short

break.



We were surprised by one thing in Prague....the LACK of prostitutes etc.

after hearing all the horror stories. In total we saw about 5 prostitutes

in our four days there so it was not an issue at all.


One final thing. If anybody is going to Prague for New Year next year be

careful where you try to celebrate it. We ran from a pub towards the

clock tower in the square just before midnight but got stuck in the crowd

on a thin alley, just outside the Museum of Sex Instruments (tacky!).

This ended up being a horrible and scary experience as the crowd from the

square began to surge and there was a nasty crush. I would imagaine

people were injured in this but we just about got through it.


Apart from that though, an excellent holiday made considerably easier by

the efficiency of Athos travel.

Thank you for organising our hotel and transfer in Prague. We stayed 5 nights at the Golden Stag. For couples (or threesomes!) I would recommend room 3 with it's oriel window overlooking bustling Celetna. The jacuzzi bath was very welcome after a hard day's sightseeing. the staff were friendly and the breakfasts yummy.

Hotel U Prince was ideal for us: Located right on Old Town square it had beautiful rooms, good service and nice restaurants. We dined at the roof-top restaurant our last evening in Prague, watching the sun set over your beautiful city.

Our private tour guide, Wilma, was very good: She took us on a beautiful stroll through the history of Prague and the Czech Republic. Her knowledge and her English were excellent.

Your agent Alena had suggested that Athos arrange our transportation from the train station to our hotel. Sadly I declined her offer, as we had some difficulty getting a taxi at Holosevice. The next trip I will definitely

take her advice!

This was our second trip to Prague and thanks to Athos Travel (and Alena) it was quite a bit better than the first trip. Mrs. Bergman and I will certainly use your services on our next trip, and we will definitely

recommend Athos to our traveling friends.

I would just like to say a big thank you to Athos travel for arranging our transfers to and from Ruzyne airport.

As soon as we entered the arrivals hall we were promplty met and led to our awaiting coach.

This proved a lot easier than trying to arrange taxis for 40 people.

Our return transfer also passed without a hitch, our driver was waiting at our hotel at the specified time and got us safely to the airport with plenty of time to spare for a last few "PIVOS".

I would not hesitate in recommending this service to any groups travelling to Prague.

Li ho trovati su Internet per puro caso nella miriade di offerte per soggiorni a Praga. Mi sono fidato della loro organizzazione ed ho prenotato albergo (Dominium Residence) e trasporto aeroporto-centro Praga tramite loro. Il tutto è stato secondo le aspettative: autista puntuale e cordiale, albergo molto bello e pulitissimo. I prezzi indicati nel coupon di prenotazione sono stati effettivamente quelli che ho pagato. Athos Travel è stata una lieta sopresa. Ben organizzati, precisi e sopratutto onesti. Forse qualche agenzia viaggi da noi in Italia (non tutte - sarebbe non corretto dirlo - solo alcune) potrebbe imparare sicuramente qualcosa anche da loro su come si può sfruttare Internet per questo genere di cose e magari anche su come vanno tenuti in cosiderazione e trattati i turisti...

You may remember arranging accommodation for me in Hotel Dominium, Prague. Myself and my husband were taking the trip to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. I am just writing to say thank you so much as we had such a wonderful time there..... we got back home last evening. Just a quick note to thank you for your help with accommodation & assistance with our recent trip to your wonderful city. We have just arrived home today after five wonderful days in Prague & Brno. The pensions we booked through yourselves were excellent & so convenient for the centre, I loved both of them.The City was so full of history, so beautiful & so clean, & the weather was perfect!! Even the lightening storm on Monday night was spectacular, sitting in the Old Town Square watching it with a glass of wine in our hands!! Please pass my thanks onto Dasa & Pavla for their help when you were out of the office and also please pass my grateful thanks on to Josef, your driver who was so helpful, friendly & accommodating to us, he always got us where we wanted to go & at the time we wanted aswell!!
