Caldeira Guesthouse

Caldeira Guesthouse is situated in Calheta, 100 metres from the Atlantic Ocean, in the Azorean São Jorge Island. It is located in natural surroundings, within the Fajã da Caldeira de Santo Cristo Natural Park, 30 km from the main village of Velas.



The Guesthouse consists of 2 double bedrooms with private bathrooms, 1 family room with a private bathroom and a dormitory with access to shared bathroom facilities.



The property's full kitchen is available for guests to use and prepare their own tasty meals in comfort. The outdoor area has a second kitchen, barbecue facilities and a lounge area.



There is a 24-hour front desk at the property. This guest house has water sports equipment for rental, like kayaks, snorkelling equipment paddleboard gear and fishing equipment, among others. The nearest harbour is in Velas.



Please note that the property has no car access, only a pedestrian path.



There are two options to access the surf camp on foot:



- Make the trail down from Serra do Topo until Fajã da Caldeira - 5km

about 1h30m



- Enter from Fajã dos Cubres, a wider trail with 4km up and down. Takes

about 1 hour (please note this trail is shared with 4 wheel bikes).
