The Logis Chez Sophie Restaurant in Briouze offers an authentic and family atmosphere. Family because it is held for 3 generations by the same family. It was in 1949 that Sandrine and Maxime’s Grandmother settled in this small Norman town. Then, his son Didier and his daughter-in-law Annie took over in 1981 and since 2011, their two children, Sandrine and Maxime Excellent.

Today holder of the status Master Restaurateur, it was only a formality. Indeed, the grandmother “Sophie” had a farm next to her hotel restaurant and the milk from the morning milking served at the restaurant… The DNA of this establishment is therefore naturally Home and/or Local Products!!!

The restaurant rooms, kitchen and back of the shop were completely modernized in 2011. The hotel was completely renovated in January 2023.

Close to Bagnoles-de-l'orne, on the Flers-Argentan axis, the establishment also welcomes groups for private or professional events.

At Sophie’s, it’s a traditional and tasty cuisine.

Taste and authenticity are the hallmarks of the cuisine concocted by the boss and chef, Maxime.

The cuisine of Maxime Excellent, labeled "Maître Restaurateur", sublimates the products of the rich Norman terroir. Know-how passed down from father to son, using only fresh products from regional producers.

This tasty cuisine is tasted in the "bistro" atmosphere of the restaurant rooms and on the pleasant terrace, in fine weather.
