We had booked there for a short break (5 nights). The hotel complex is a bit out of town, so that it is difficult, for example, to go to another restaurant on foot in the evening. The location of the TV in the room (obviously in all "regular" rooms) is a shield bourgeoisie because the screen faces the opposite wall next to the double bed. That couldn't be changed either and was then "softened" by the realization that there were only two or three German-language programs (based on ZDF) fed in anyway (but around 30 programs from other countries). The bathroom layout is also a bad plan, because you can only get to the mini washbasin in the bathroom from the side because the shower cubicle is practically in front of it. The room cleaning service first had to be requested energetically in the afternoon of the first day, then successfully prevented our afternoon nap in the following days by knocking between 3 and 5 p.m. In addition: The only free socket in the room (we wanted to connect the mobile phone charger and operate the laptop) was without electricity. After two days of reporting a defect, we were handed an extension cable at reception as a solution, in order to "lay" it from the bathroom socket across the room - of course on our own. Our floor was completely unoccupied, but no one thought of offering us another room with a working socket... Positive: the quality of the breakfast and the use of the aqua park with its diverse and imaginatively equipped pools. However, since this swimming pool is public, you always have to expect school classes etc. to let off steam there. Luckily we only experienced that once. Conclusion: Anyone who appreciates the nature of the Jizera Mountains and wants to get to know such historical spa towns as Bad Flinsberg can find accommodation with a scenic view and relaxation in the integrated aqua park in this hotel for a reasonable price. No less, but no more.

• -Friendly, but poorly trained or instructed, helpless-acting service staff when problems arise -Arrangement of the TV, hardly any German-speaking programs -Room layout in the bathroom is a donkey.
