From beginning of our trip we had nothing but stress from the hotel for something they try to force us to have and to pay for which was not part of our booking confirmation but with help of staff from www.a-hotel.com managed to avoid compulsory and very expensive gala and x-mas dinner ( $250 per person no alcoholic or soft drinks included only one bottle of water ) , I travelled to Maldives every year on x-mas and new year for last 11 years . 5 star hotel ? I don't think so no where near it , staff helpful but inexperience , and disorganize , Food not much of choice , would i go there again no chance .Pease note that the above is only my opinion.
