Pleasant stay in a nice hotel for a good price. The hotel is located about 5 minutes walk from the river Rhine, the city center is also a short walk. The staff at the reception was nice and friendly, all the formalities were done quickly and without any problems. Our room was on a busier street, but the windows were well insulated, so the night was quiet and there was no traffic noise. The room complied with the standard of IBIS hotels - large comfortable bed, practical bathroom, everything clean. Free WiFi with a good signal. There is no safe in the room, but valuables can be stored at reception. The lobby and breakfast room are large enough, the breakfast buffet was rich and varied. Public transport and train station within 5 minutes walk from the hotel. If we go to Mainz again, we will be happy to stay here again.
