After spending 5 days in Prague I returned exhausted but a lot wiser!
Prague is a beautiful city at this time of year. The buildings and the atmosphere of the Christmas markets were beyond my expectations even though I had done my homework on the net before my visit. Postcards and photographs do not do it justice..you have to be there.
One moan (sorry) the driver of my transfer bus was not the first Praguer that anyone should meet in order to form an opinion. Although he spoke and understood English well, he was almost at the point of being rude.This being so, on the return transfer I did not initiate any conversation with him. I wish he had been wearing identification!
However, all the tours that were organised before my visit were wonderful. Guides were conscientious, professional and with a sense of humour.
P.S. accommodation in a Pension was great too. Thank you.

Have just returned from 3 memorable days in Prague.

We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Golden Stag. The rooms were spacious and v comfortable. The situation so close to the Old Town Square was wonderful.

Thankyou for your advice when planning the trip.

Thank you also to Gerry who transported us to and from the airport and entertained and informed us during the journey.

I am writing to thank you and Athos travel for organising our

accommodation and transfers while we were in Prague last weekend. We

have had 5 wonderful days in Prague staying at the Benedikt Apartments.


The accommodation was very clean and in the ideal located to explore the

city, with the coffee shop on the ground floor been the perfect place

for breakfast.


I would specially like to thank Milan Tomasek, your transfer service.

Prague is a beautiful city and 5 days was not enough. We will definitely

come back to Prague in the future and would definitely use Athos travel

We visited 16-20th October. Thanks to Hana at Athos Travel for her efficient and friendly handling of our booking. The city is beautiful and exciting and we recommend it to all. We were fortunate with our accomodation - Appartment Zatec, which was clean and spacious with a great location. We also stayed at Hotel Roma , which had a less convenient location but was very nice and modern.


Best memory was the driver, Milan Tomasek. What a character - nothing was too much trouble! It was like having our own chauffeur during our visit. My wife loves the Smetana 'Ma Vlast' CD he gave us. His pride in his country and his job shone through and enthused us.

We would like to thank you for helping make our recent trip to Prague so enjoyable. We were picked up at the airport on October 9th by Milan Tomasek, and taken to the train by Mister Tomasek on October 13th. We also took a tour of Prague, which you arranged, on October 10th and we enjoyed the tour very much. We had a wonderful time in Prague. The city was beautiful, the churches and castle and museums were wonderful, and the Czech People were so very nice to us.



But what we will always remember most was the assistance, consideration and kindness of Mister Tomascek. He was kind enough to do so much more than just transport us from the airport to our hotel and back to the train station. He went with me to the train station, when we arrived in Prague, and made the reservations for us to travel to Vienna. When we left for Vienna, he took all our heavy luggage into the train station. There he patiently waited with us until our train arrived, and then found our car and carried the luggage onto the train. My wife and I are a little disabled due to knee injuries, and we would not have been able to manage at the train station without his assistance. He had no obligation other than to pick us up and drop us off, but he saw that we needed assistance and he provided that assistance freely and wholeheartedly. We will always remember him, and be grateful to him.



Please extend our sincere thanks to Mister Tomasek. When we recall our trip to Prague, he will always be the face of the Czech People.

The driver who met us at the airport on our arrival was there and waiting. He was smartly turned out and socialable. He gave us useful information for our stay. The driver who collected us from the hotel arrived on time was polite and again smartly dressed.

Recently returned from our trip to beautiful Prague!


Admittedly a little disappointed that hotel transfer could easily be found at the airport for at least 80 czk less than the service you provide! The driver who met us spoke little English, but was pleasant and tried his best.


Unfortunately, the driver you sent to return us to the airport was extremely unfriendly, with a disposition bordering on hostile! He barked orders, and tried to insist we even put our purses in the trunk with the rest of the luggage! (You do not separate a woman from her purse!) He left us all very uneasy and wanting to get out of the car and find another way to the airport - had we not been pressed for time we would have done so! Definitely not the way we wanted to end such a wonderful trip!


Apartment Zatec had an excellent location! Unbelievably close to everything! The apartment was cute, but could have used a little extra cleaning in the shower (which also leaked) and some fabric softener for the towels! The landlady very sweet and helpful!


I would Definitely considering using your service again to book a hotel, but would not arrange airport transfer again. You might do well to remind your drivers of the concept of customer service.

Just a quick note to say thank you for the arrangements you made on our behalf in relation to the hotel and the transport to and from the airport.



The location of the hotel Golden Stag was great for all the places of interest and nice and quiet at the night time.



Prague was a wonderful venue for my wife's birthday and she said it was the best holiday break she has ever had.

I recently made a reservation on your website for my holiday in Prague and I am completely satisfied with your service!


I searched many websites for accommodation. I knew it was a busy time so I really appreciated getting an email from your company acknowledging receipt of my request so I know someone is working on it. Your travel consultants where by far the most prompt in responding with a confirmation and they were all so helpful in answering all of my questions.


When I arrived to Prague, the driver immediately knew my name and gave us a warm welcome to Prague. When he arrived near our hotel, he realized that there was construction on the street and he could not drive on the road that leads to the entrance. Even thought we could get out of the car and walk the 100 metres, he gladly drove to the other side of the castle and went in the back entrance. He carried our bags into the lobby, spoke to the man at the desk and made sure that we were checked in. He asked if we had arrangements for transport back to the airport and we immediately made a reservation with him. Who wouldn’t with service like that?


The hotel (Zlatá hvìzda (Golden Star ) was a pleasant surprise with very nice rooms, a great location, and a friendly staff. I would be interested in staying there again and would recommend it to anyone. I also must say that the pictures on your website are a true reflection of the accommodation.


Your commitment to customer satisfaction is obvious and very much appreciated! I apologize for not having the names of any of the employees who assisted me but perhaps you will have it on record and can pass along my appreciation for a job well done?

Just back from excellent weekend spent in Prague.


Would like to thank Hana and the rest of the Athos team for arranging our Transfers and accommidation at the Alice Apartments. Apartment spacious and comfortable, staff and owner George very friendly and made us feel welcome.

We have just returning from Prague and I want to thank you for everything you did for us. I really enjoyed the city and I have to admit we had great time . Prague is a marvellous city with extremely wonderful buildings, great places and fantastic beer and clubs!

We also enjoyed Apartment Stupart that you recommended it was ideally placed for the clubs, bars, restaurants, shopping and Old Square.

So thanx again for your kind help, and we will be telling people about our very good experiences with Athos.

Just a few words of thanks to the people at the Alice House Apartments. We spent five nights in Prague and I can honestly say that the service and help that we recieved was the best that I have ever experienced in over 30 years of traveling. The apartments were clean and tidy with everything that we needed. (one word of caution is they were a little small but that was down to our selection as much as the apartments). Again thank you for the truely excellent service and help, it made our holiday. I have no hesitation in recomending you to anyone and hope to return in the future.


A general note for anyone thinking of visiting Prague. The public transport is very very good and cheap to use. Our party of eight were able to travel to Kutna Hora 50 miles from the city for 504 Kr. return. The tour buses were charging 930 per adult. 10 minutes of research saved us a lot of money.

Just back from a few days in Prague. Airport transfers, private tour and hotel all booked through Athos. All were very good. Very personable driver from the airport and the tour with Vilma was very interesting. Stayed at the Hotel Metamorphsis which had a great location and plenty of charm. However the beds were quite uncomfortable and short (I am 6' 3" tall) and the walls were paper thin. Conseuently I could hear every word my loud Italian neighbors had to say - at all hours. Very pleased overall with Athos.

U Zeleneho Vence (Green Garland) was everything we hoped for - great location, clean rooms, good breakfast, friendly staff. We hope to stay again sometime. Just had a lovely three days in Prague..thank you for your help in making this happen. It was lovely to find a friendly driver to whisk us off to our apartment..with no hanging around at the airport!!


The accomodation we chose was Aparthouse 20 (room 2) and even though we didnt expect luxury we did at least hope for it to be clean and in working order. lamps had no bulbs, no curtains or blinds at any windows, dirty water coming back up through plug in shower, chipped and dirty crockery. We also would of expected staying for four days there should have been at least one rubbish collection.


We would certainly recommend your company but think this property was misleading from the web-site images!!
