Villars-sur-Ollon is a village in Switzerland, located in the Alps, in the southwestern part of the country near Lake Geneva. Skiing and other activities in Villars-sur-Ollon
In the vicinity of Villars-sur-Ollon, we can find several options for skiing - from the smaller resorts in Bretaye or Gryon to Les Diablerets, which also offers skiing on a glacier. In total, the area includes 120 kilometers of pistes, on which 45 ski lifts will take you. Of course, lovers of snowboarding, cross-country skiing, or parents with children, for whom the ski school is intended, will also find their own way. There is also the possibility to go sledding or take a walk around the area. In the summer, the area is perfect for mountain biking or mountain climbing or for playing golf. The golf course in Villars-sur-Ollon is unique in itself, it is located at an altitude of 1600 meters above sea level (so you will feel as if you were playing golf on Sněžka) and offers an absolutely breathtaking view of Mont Blanc. In the vicinity of the village there are three beautiful mountain lakes - Lac de Bretaye, Lac de Chavonnes or Lac Noir, you can easily reach them from Villars-sur-Ollon by following marked hiking trails. It is also possible to ice skate in the area, gastronomic tours are also a specialty or you can have fun while searching for treasure, romantics can then use the place for a picnic. And if all this is not enough, you can spend your free time in one of the amusement parks located in the vicinity.
