When we checked in to the Hostal Paris we were greeted very well. Upon entering our room we had no hot water (which was a must after travelling by car from Malaga), the light over one of the beds was not working, there was only one double plug socket which was hidden behind the ricketty "desk" the furniture was sparse consisting of one desk chair, one wardrobe. a ricketty "desk" and two single beds, However the room was clean if not well maintained, The issues we had were resolved by the time we returned from our walk, They have a car park (undercover) which I thought was expensive at 8 Euros per day. It would have been nice (and welcome) if there had been tea & coffee making facilities in the room, The Hostal Paris was within reach of everything we wanted and was only a short walk from the Gibralta border, Very basic. but at only 148 Euros for 4 nights who can complain,
