Good German experience. It would have been nice to know about the church across the street, particularly that very clear and slightly loud bell every 15 minutes and the bell competition when it is church time. Not really bad when you get used to it. Very limited English speaking. You get by. Slightly lower room standards than US such as replacing dirty glasses. Not dirty but not 5 star. Totally cool immersion into the very pleasant German town and culture. Enjoyed a small festival on the street right in front of the hotel. Had a neat theater in the hotel but we passed and enjoyed the town outside the hotel. Parking was actually quite convenient and reasonable when you found the public underground garage and figured out how to purchase a week pass. The nice local German lady that tried couldn't get it to work the first time. The restaurant in the hotel must be excellent because it was always filled and you needed to get there early. The young English speaking lady who worked the booking was always pleasant, cheerful and very helpful. We would recommend this to any of our friends and go there again.
