Zell am Ziller is a municipality located in the Schwaz district of the Austrian Tyrol in a valley called the Zillertal. Zell am Ziller, with less than 1,800 inhabitants, lies at an altitude of 575 m on an area of 2.4 km² and is the geographical and historical heart of the entire valley.
