Situated on the High Street in the charming market town of Stony Stratford, this historic 15th-century coaching inn offers bright, airy accommodation with free Wi-Fi and tasty food.



Each spacious room has a TV and tea/coffee making facilities, with hairdryers available in some rooms and irons and ironing boards available on request.



The Cock became famous in the great age of coach travel. Travellers staying at the hotel and at the adjacent Bull inn would compete with each other in telling outrageous tales of the road. It is from this that the famous phrase “a Cock and Bull Story” derives.
