Mashuko Youth Hostel

Surrounded by mountains, lakes and the great wilderness of Hokkaido, Mashuko Youth Hostel offers simple accommodation with free WiFi access. Lake Mashu is a 16-minute drive from the hostel.



Rooms are carpeted and equipped with heating facilities. All rooms are simply decorated and are strictly non-smoking. Bathrooms and toilets are shared with other guests.



Guests staying at our hostel can use the coin laundry (fees apply), a sink, drinking water, coffee, tea, and green tea. Other facilities offered at the property include a shared lounge and luggage storage. At the front desk, guests can purchase laundry detergent, tooth brushes and razors.



Our hostel does not currently serve meals, so please use a nearby restaurant or purchase at a nearby supermarket or convenience store and bring it to our hostel. In addition, you can use simple self-catering facilities such as a microwave oven, toaster, rice cooker, cutting board, kitchen knife, gas stove, and frying pan.



Lake Kussharo is a 30-minute drive away, while Lake Akan is a 60-minute drive from the hostel. Kushiro Shitsugen National Park can also be drive to in 60 minutes. The nearest airport, Nakashibetsu Airport, is a 1-hour and 15-minute drive away.
