The Ferienapartments Alte Knabenschule is idyllically set at the foot of the castle hill of the Sonnenstein fortress and next to the Marienkirche church. The Erlpeter fountain with fresh spring water bubbles here at the house.



In one minute you reach the historic market square with its nice restaurants and the Baroque old town of Dresden is just a 20-minute drive away.



The Elbe Cycle Path passes in less than 300 metres away, the Malerweg hiking trail begins virtually on your doorstep and the historic market square with its cozy restaurants and localities is only a minute's walk away. Here you will also find bakeries, cafes with breakfast service, health food stores and tourist information.



In less than five minutes on foot you can reach discount supermarkets and daily markets, the popular Tom Pauls Theater and various cabarets. Pirna's typical romantic courtyards are in the immediate vicinity.



The accommodation building is an old school house and an important historic monument. First documented in 1346, it was used by the Burgmanns as a residential building to guard the Sonnenstein fortress. From 1583 to 1830 it housed the town's boys' school.
