Krumlov as a city did not disappoint me. I also liked the weather. I was satisfied with the accommodation in the guesthouse. I just think that someone less mobile would have a problem with the lack of space in the small space of the single room. The bathroom was perfect. I was also satisfied with the arranged breakfasts. I also appreciate the helpfulness of Mr. Radek Kozák. The only thing that made me a little sad was the failure of the television signal of some stations. So I spent my evenings with crossword puzzles.

The place in general is nice and perfectly located near to everything. Breakfast is not part of the deal, but it can be ordered (for small addition) to the room. There is a kitchen-et corner in which you can make hot drinks or use the utensils. There is no parking near the Pension. The car should be parked outside the old city, in Eggberg parking lot. We had to take the baggage and walk with it (up the hill) to the hotel.

A very pleasant, thoughtfully and well fitted out B&B in an excellent position. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience of staying in this very old building (the magnificent wooden ceiling/floor is beautiful). The lady who runs the place has no English, and we have no Czech - but we still managed to get through booking in and user instructions. Extremely good value and a lovely experience in a beautiful place.

I took my mother to Krumlov as a present for her 60th birthday...she was captivated by the city, we couldn't get enough of evening walks, dinner in Šatlava, and the striking of the tower and church clocks was also stylish. Accommodation pleasant, clean and to our general satisfaction. Thank you for a nice weekend in Český Krumlov. Ivana and Eva.

Hello Our comments following our stay Location of the pension difficult, not to report. Difficult access, many steps, no parking to unload luggage. Not a very warm welcome, you immediately feel that only money interests them. The radiator in the room is built into the bed, in winter it must be untenable. Breakfast is placed on the landing of the rooms at the requested time, but they do not warn (by knocking on the door of the room), result we wait in the room and it is cold. Staircase access to narrow and poorly lit rooms. However, the rooms are fine and very clean. Pension not recommended for people with mobility difficulties and impossible for disabled people. Hello, we were very satisfied with the accommodation in the guesthouse. We really liked the location of the hotel, which is very accessible to the center and close to all the monuments. Admittedly, it is poorly marked and we looked for it for quite a long time. Because we looked everywhere for Pension Zámecké schody and the pension is actually marked as Accommodation....and there is no trace of the name Pension Zámecké schody... But otherwise everything was perfect and very we liked it there and we also thank you for a pleasant weekend. Best regards, Violet

Eine sehr gemütliche und ruhige kleine Pension mit einem sehr aufmerksamen, stets freundlichem und entgegenkommenden 'Wirt'. Recht ordentliches Früstück, immer pünktlich ans Zimmer serviert. Leider auch nicht ein deutscher oder wenigstens englischer Fernsehkanal. Eine sehr sehenswerte, wenn auch von Touristen überlaufene Stadt.

The stay in the guesthouse was very pleasant. I recommend. We really liked Krumlov, but the weather didn't really work out for us and the prices there are higher than elsewhere in the country. Parking is expensive and it is not possible to drive all the way to the guesthouse.

• No English speaking staff. The heater was turned off on the second night. Noone at the pension after 5pm and no telephone for us to make a call when there was a problem.

Hello Filip, we were 3 couples and had 3 rooms in the time from 29.12.06 up to 02.01.2007. For me and my wife it was the fifth stay in Cesky Krumlov and I can say every time is a new adventure. New impressions at every stay are guaranteed. The Sylvester Party at the old market place was very impressive many fire works around gave a romantical style. The rooms were good, not very good. The Service was very friendly, cooperative and flexible. The breakfast was also good not vast. So I hope giving you a feed back about our stay at Pension On The Castle stairs and our feeling at our stay so you have the chance to start improvements in some points when necessary.
