Beautiful resort with aquapark close to Hersonissos. The water slides are suitable for all the age groups of children. Rooms are more simple but clean. There are couple of restaurants in the resort with plenty of food for adults and kids. Staff friendly and welcoming.

Star Beach Village & Water Park is located right next to the beach (it is separated from the beach by a little-used road), about an hour from the airport. The rooms are rather simpler, free tea and coffee in the rooms. Wifi hardly works in the rooms, but it is fine at the reception and in the pools. The complex includes perhaps 6 swimming pools and an aqua park with several slides, which surprisingly had almost no queues. Free sunbeds by the pool and on the beach for hotel guests. Towel rental for a refundable deposit. Food fantastic, incredible selection including sea monster, fish, Asian cuisine, fruit, desserts. Freezer counters by the pools, where we could scoop up unlimited ice cream. The staff is very nice and helpful.

• Upon arrival at night, a small dinner was waiting for us to welcome us. The good thing is that even if you have to check out of the rooms by 12 o'clock on the day of departure, you can use not only the swimming pools, but also the dining room and practically everything in the complex for free until your departure.

• Non-functional wifi in the rooms. If you have a room with windows facing the pools and there is night entertainment going on, you can't sleep at all because of the noise.
