Located on the banks of the Salzach River, in the centre of Salzburg, the Hotel Stein has a history dating back to medieval times and was fully renovated and reopened in the spring of 2018. Rooms at the Hotel Stein show a mixture of modern and classical style, with Austrian and Venetian influences. The restaurant Steinterrasse is located on the 7th floor and offers a view of the old town of Salzburg. Guests can enjoy a breakfast, brunch or fine dining on the rooftop terrace, and enjoy exquisite drinks and dishes.



Hotel Stein's own spa area can be used against a surcharge and features a relaxation area, sauna and gym. Guides are provided in the rooms with running, hiking and Nordic walking routes.
