We recently returned from our first holiday abroad and stayed at Apartment Benedikt
Benediktska str. No. 16, Old Town (Stare Mesto), Prague 1.
The lady who owns these appartments is Miluse Zelena and she was unbelievably helpful. Our transfer both ways from and to Prague Airport went smoothly. Miluse Zelena greeted us on arrival, showed us to the beautiful apartment, gave us a map and detailed help with finding our way around. We were only a short distance from the amazing Old Town Square. The apartment was more than we could have hoped for - even coffee, tea and sugar to hand. Soap and so many towels we would have needed to be there for a month to use them all!!The bakery on the first floor just about completed the pleasure and breakfast was served each morning together with delicious freshly squeezed orange juice. We thoroughly enjoyed your beautiful city, the people were helpful and friendly (especially the policemen) and we hope one day to return .

The pictures on your site were exactually as the hotel except the rooms were even nicer than shown. All of our requests for bookings were handled quickly and with ease. Please note and that Josef was there waiting for us with a clean, large car even though we were delayed. He also took us back, was on time and so very helpful. We have just got back from Prague after a 4 day stay. We had read the previous reports on the Prague Lion hotel and we can honestly say they dont do it justice, we had excellant service, it is quite central, very affordable and
room was excellant with satelite tv. The staff were helpful only drawback lousy coffee but we could put up with that. This hotel represents excellant value and is centrally located.

On our arrival even though 6 hr flight delay our prebooked taxi driver was waiting for us helped us with our bags and on arrival at hotel the receptionis carried our bags to the room.

All in all the trip was excellant thank you for all your organisation and we certainly reccomend your services and the hotel

Just a brief message to say thanks for the excellent service provided by your hotel transfer drivers.Despite our plane being late the driver waited and was very polite and even gave us an impromptu tour of the city rather than going via the less scenic tunnel.It certainly put our minds at rest knowing we had your service to fall back on to get back to the airport after our excellent stay.

My four friends and i took a four day break in prague and were appalled by the rudeness of the people. I dont know if it was because we were young english girls with the audacity to wear skirts one inch above the knee, or if they are generally bad mannered.
We had heard the people were polite and friendly ,but on our arrival at our 3 star hotel, the sour faced receptionist looked up at us and said 'passports?' and then expected us to pay a deposit in euros, which we had not been informed of before, and all we had was coronas.we paid the money, and then the two security guards left us to slog our luggage up two flights of stairs, telling us without an apology, that the lift was 'out of order'.
At a local restaurant we ordered a main course each, no one asked for bread, but we were bought some. At the end of the meal we were charged for this bread, 2.50, and 1.00 for service.It may not sound a lot, but we are not rich girls! we would not have minded beind charged for service, if the service hadnot been so bad. the waiter barely said a word to us, and never smiled. If we had been told we were to be charged for bread, we would not have ordered it.
In a cafe, the next day, we ordered ice cream as a desert to our dinner, (which we had found hairs in, a strange discovery, in a recommended cafe)the ice cream was different from the picture on the menu, and coverde in nuts. I said it was not the same, and the waitress said, but the ice cream underneath is the same. I told her i was allergic to nuts, and she told me to leave it. At the end of the meal i was charged for it, although i had not eaten it and had had no replacement offered to me, but i refused to pay, and she accepted this in a rude and agressive way.On the tram into town, people would laugh and stare at us, not caring if we saw them. In England, we would never dare treat foreigners in that way, and it made us angry.
Next year, i am going back to north cyprus, a very friendly place where people have been brought up to treat others with manners and respect.

Spent 4 days in Prague from 27th to 30th January and had a wonderful time.Our driver was waiting at the airport for us when we arrived and the landlady was waiting at the apartments for us.She was extremely kind and helpful and the apartments looked just as they did on the website-wow!
Would definitely recommend these apartments-very central and comfortable.Although very cold,Prague looks beautiful when it snows.Will certainly be back.Thanks to everyone for all the good service.

Just a short note to say thankyou for our wonderful stay in Prague.Our hotel the BISHOPS HOUSE 1 was great, the staff were friendly,a great postion ,right on Charles Bridge,and it snowed. Now to our transfer from the airport arranged by Anhos Travel.Milan,what a great guy he is,he just would not stop talking,telling us about pragues history at every point of interest,and funny at the same time.Will hopefully be going back and would not hesitate to use ATHOS TRAVEL again. PS thank you Hana 4 sorting out our booking regarding our friends cancelation

My daughter and I spent 4 wonderful days at the Hotel U Modreh klice (Blue Key) which is just off the Lesser Town Square. It is very handy for walking everywhere and the view at night walking across the Charles Bridge back to the hotel is just wonderful. The staff were very friendly and even recommended a local restaurant, The 3 Violins. The rooms were amazing, beautifully decorated, central heating, double glazing, duvets, fridge, TV, hairdryer. The bathroom was exceptionally clean, very modern and clean towels every day. A great choice at breakfast and at the weekend, there is sausage,bacon and eggs. I will definately be going back later this year.

The hotel Salvator, which we stayed in on the 29/12/2004 ,is advertised as cosy and interesting on website. We found the cleanliness questionable, and it was certainly not cosy. Would not recommend it.

We spent 6 days in Praha,a Wonderful experience. Made even better by the expert help of, Alena Obstova, Pavla Vavrouskova & Jarek our very funny and extremely experienced taxi driver. Taking us to other parts of the Czech Republic we would have definately got lost in.
