- Big, nice rooms. Had a small library of books to read, and free internet terminal, which was surprisingly uncrowded for only ony computer.
Have pizza at Pepe Nero! Or Pizza Nero, can't remember. Traveled for 2 months, best pizza of the trip.
- Location is a bit away from city center.

My wife and I had a great time staying at the Salvator. Friendly staff, excellent service, good breakfast, excellent location and price. It would have been a 100% perfect experience except for the construction next door which caused us to keep the windows closed at night. But that wasn't too much of a bother. The double windows kept out most of the noise. We won't hesitate to recommend this hotel to our friends, in fact, we already have. The online reservation system worked fine as well. This was our first time in Prague. What a wonderful city! Thanks for helping make our experience so positive!

Hotel Salvator was okay for us, weather was good, Prague was lovely.
- Hotel is well situated for city tours.

STEPHEN SMITH
(Family with older children),
The Hotel Salvator is a clean and modernized, small hotel on a quiet side street about 1/4 mile from the Namesti Republicky metro station. It is convenient to many Stare Maesto restaurants and sights. The hotel staff was very helpful with directions and reservations. Not cheap, but a good value considering the full breakfast and convenience.
- Location, value and staff assistance
- some construction in the neighborhood.
Graham Rogers
(Young couple),
A very welcoming hotel, excellent breakfast & restaurant menus. Close to all amenities, definately recommended. Room spacious & very comfortable. Staff spoke good english, were polite & always available to assist.
- Close to main square, metro, tram, buses & tour companies. All main attractions within walking distance.
- Unfortunately hotel didn't sell Trdelnik!!

Jock Bovington
(Family with older children),
We just finished a 4 night stay and had nothing but good to say about this hotel and it's staff. Prague was the first stop of our three city family (kids age 19,23,30,32) trip and it ended up being our favorite stop. We can't wait to go back and when we do we will stay at the Hotel Salvator. It's perfectly located on a quite street near the Powder Tower which is on the edge of old town. The staff was wonderful, the breakfact much better than most and included scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, juice, coffee, fruit, coldcuts, bread. I can't comment on their resturant or bar because Prague had so much to offer that we were out the door for the day. We did use the internet shop often and found it very handy.

(Young couple),
We had a great weekend here, wish we could come back soon.
Location is 90% only because there is no way to choose 99%. :) There was some road reconstruction going on at the end of the street and on the neighbouring building and that made walking slightly more difficult. Still excellent though, very close to most tourist attractions and not disturbing at all.
Thank you!
- very friendly staff
close to sights
excellent value for your money
- car parking only in the garage of a nearby mall (appr. 5 min walk with half of the square closed for reconstruction)

Michael Denbury
(Mature couple),
Hotel Salvator is well situated within easy walking distance of Old Town Square and Wenceslas Square. Also reasonable walking distance of Charles Bridge and Prague Castle.
Public transport nearby the hotel but didn't need to use it.
Accommodation in the hotel was of a good standard. Clean and tidy rooms, pleasant staff and a fine selection of breakfast food, in ample quantity.
We also ate at the hotel on two evenings and found the food to be of good quality, well prepared, and served by pleasant and helpful waiters.
- Convenient to main sights.
Clean, well equipped large room, with large bathroom with shower.
Friendly staff. Good food
- Building work nearby is ongoing. Work started about 6am but not so intrusive as to be a nuisance.
Understand work due to finish Autumn 2007.

(Group of friends),
The transfer and the hotel was fabulous. The driver was really friendly and the hotel was fantastic. We were however really disappointed in the general friendliness of the service providers in Prague. The paddle boats by Charles bridge owner, was the rudest person we have ever experienced on our travels, aswell as some of the retail assistants (or lack of). We loved pragues beauty, and scenery, however the lack of welcome really put a dampner on the experience.

We really liked the hotel but the noise from the restaurant did keep us awake and the early morning preparation for breakfast woke us up. I would suggest that you mention the fact that there is some noise (especially if you need to keep the windows open when it is hot) in the rooms that have windows toward the courtyard area.

Blain Secor
(Family with older children),
Hotel Salvatore was a nice place to stay. However, we almost didn't find it because of all the construction going on near it. It took quite a while, and we nearly left the city when it looked like we almost couldn't get to it! The room was comfortable; however, we were on the top floor and our windows opened right onto the balcony where the elevator opens. We were awakened a number of times by loud guests talking when they got off the elevator. Also, the tub/shower could really use a shower curtain so one can stand while showering and not worry about getting the floor all wet.
The hotel restaurant (breakfast and dinner) was wonderful!
- location on Old Town
restaurant
friendliness of staff
- difficult to get to w/construction; had to park multiple blocks away
windows in room opened to elevator/noisy
needs shower curtain in bathroom

We stayed in a triple room & it was fantastic.
First of all the size is immense, almost like a mini-apartment, with a hallway, large bedroom, seated area, seperare toilet & bathroom. Very good value for money. The staff were very friendly & their english is fluent. They helped us out no end with our slightly lacking attempts at pronouncing czech! Would advise you to use the lift (which was out when we arrived) however & not take the stairs as they were wooden & uneven- not a good combination with a heavy suitcase!
Breakfast was a bit limited but was offered from 7-10 so plenty of chance for a lie-in!
We are planning on returning to this hotel in a couple of years time.
Frank Broom
We found the hotel to be very good value for a family holiday. The connecting rooms on the top floor were ideal for two adults / two older children. The buffet breakfast gave enough choices for all - the home-baked bread was exceptional. The restaurant was excellent - we ate there 3 out of the 4 days - local red wine to be recommended!
KEN GREENFIELD
HOTEL SALVADOR WAS EXCELLENT APPARTMENT WAS VERY CLEAN AND WITHIN IN WALKING DISTANCE OF ALL OF THE MAIN SITES THE BREAKFAST WAS EXCELLENT BUT I HAVE TO AGREE WITH SOMEBODY EARLIER IT DOES NEED MORE VARIATION WE STAYED HERE FOUR DAYS AND IT DID BECOME A LITTLE BORING THE RESTAURANT WAS SUPERB FOOD WAS GREAT STAFF VERY HELPFUL TEN OUT OF TEN WANT TO COME BACK AGAIN
Mary Beth Mixdorf
Hotel Salvator was very comfortable, spacious and well-located. We all enjoyed their breakfast buffet. Czech yogurt and breads are delicious!

I found this Hotel Salvator to be extremely good value.
The staff were very friendly and most accomodating. The restaurant was brilliant, most definately the best place we found to eat.

POSITIVES
Good and comfortable rooms.
Courteous,friendly and helpful staff
Very conveniently located
Easily accessible Security Lockers
Just Cosy
NEGATIVES
Same breakfast menu repeated every day so boring if you plan a long halt
Strange but no phones in the rooms
No bedcovers on beds in spite of it being a 3 Star
No shampoo provided
Internet access only at fixed times so a bit inconvenient
Limited Channels on TV
A GOOD STAY HOTEL
GENERAL HINTS
Check the rates at exchange Houses it varies drastically between Exchange Houses..CHANGE YOUR MONEY ONLY AT LEGITIMATE EXCHANGE HOUSES
Internet Cafes provide good rates and you can also make international calls from them
Dennis Gamble
Stayed here September/2003. Parking for our car was nearby and safe (underground at shopping centre). Rooms were comfortable and clean. Short walks to many locations, including "the bridge". Dining in the restaurant "La Boca" downstairs was not only convenient, but food was very good and prices reasonable. Breakfast was included and there were many choices. We'd stay here again!
Piers Lawson-Brown
This hotel offers a great place to stay whilst in the city. It is close to the Old Town, and has a fantastic resturant as well. Comfortable and affordable, with secure parking, what more do you need?
Mr R Billingham
Good room.
Friendly helpfull staff
Breakfast could do with some variation
Main evening restaurant excellent(particularly the steaks)
Interesting shop selling natural products now open
Good central position
Overall we were very satisfied with the hotel

Hello
I was reading through the list for the Hotel Salvator in Prague. Being a student, looking at the rates, I felt they where very reasonable. I am looking at possibly visiting Prague later on in the year, and would like to know the rates from October to November 2003. I would like to study Prague around this time, hopfully when it is a little quieter, as I am a photographic student, I would like to come to try to get some shots too of Wencleslas Square as time approaches the festive period.
If you could get back intouch with me, I would be greatful. Thanks!
Lynn-Marie

Very nice. Friendly staff, great breakfast, bar/restaurant and pool tables in the basement. Central location. Good value

We have just returned from 2 days in Prague and would highly recommend anyone who has the chance to pay a visit. A city full of contrasts, very warm and friendly people, nothing is too much trouble.
We stayed at the Hotel Salvator, booked through Athos - excellent value and very close to all sights. 2 things to be aware of at this hotel - the pictures on the web site are out of date, hotel has been updated and is much better than is shown. Also hotel ONLY accepts American Express cards not Visa or Mastercard - could be a problem!
Thanks for the booking. Would recommend
