Overall a first class hotel. We paid extra for the executive rooms and were not disappointed. However we were disappointed that on our arrival despite telling the duty concierge that we had booked executive rooms we were not offered the executive check in. On the first morning we were unfortunate enough to ask the concierge who had checked us in about the breakfast arrangements and he neglected to tell us that as executive guests we were allocated reserved places in the executive dining room. As a result we did not get the executive breakfast on the first day. Once we had found out about the arrangements for executive guests the rest of the stay was first class and for the small amount extra to pay it was well worth the upgrade.

Robert Argyle (Family with older children),

We found the room was too small for three adults. We had difficulty sometimes in getting a table for breakfast. Each night there were several coach loads of people arriving and departing. The hotel is next to a building site - we were woken up regularly at 6am by the construction work. We did not take any evening meals at the hotel. It is much better to take the metro into Prague - there are many excellent and cheap restaurants there. The taxi to and from the airport was excellent and good value. The Metro and tram system is fantastic. The city (music, culture and museums) is wonderful. We want to come back.

  • Good location for the market (fresh fruit) and the metro station at Pankrac. There is also an excellent Italian restaurant (Il Carlo II) nearby.

We stayed here for 3 nights in nov 2004 and loved the hotel to bits it was pure luxury and we were very well looked after, so well that we have recommended it to everyone we know who's interested in visiting praque, telling them they could do no better. We'll definetly be back and would'nt risk dissapointment by going elsewhere.
