History of Westendorf
In ancient times, Austria was only crossed, mainly from Holland and Germany in the direction of Italy. However, with the passage of time, the situation has completely turned around, and Austria, with its predominantly alpine resorts, has become the target of tourists from all over the world. The first written mention of Westendorf comes from 1234. At that time, it consisted of a total of 21 villages. For history you can go to the local Ellmau museum.

Don't forget to get a highway stamp before traveling in Austria by car. If you like to travel by train, there is also this option. The nearest train station is in Kufstein. You can easily walk around the city itself. Ski buses are available for transport to nearby resorts.
